For December 2017, Asics is giving the Gel Lyte III a considered premium construction. The sneaker is made in Japan, including the leather cutting, sewing, shoe assembly and indigo dye method. The construction is all achieved without the use industrial chemicals. Two colorways have been produced for the pack. One is dubbed “Usuai” in a matte finish with lighter shade of blue. The colorway is dubbed “Koai” in a lustrous finish in deeper shade of blue.

The packaging is premium too. The kicks are wrapped in Japanese scarves and placed in a wooden sneaker boxes.

The kicks are exclusive to Afew in Germany and ultra limited with 4 pairs of each colorway available for purchase (499,95 €) on the 9th of December release date.
